My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

## 🐶💛 Hi, I’m Ducky!

Hi there! I’m **Ducky**, and yes—those **long, floppy ears** are kind of my thing. They bounce when I walk, swish when I run, and occasionally get in the way when I’m feeling extra enthusiastic (worth it). I like to think they help me hear snacks being opened from very far away. 👂✨

I’m a happy, curious puppy who’s figuring out the world one wag at a time. I love people, love playtime, and love following you around to see what you’re up to. When I’m tired from all that important puppy business, I’m perfectly content to curl up and soak in some cuddles—ears included.

I’m still learning all my puppy basics, so I’ll need a family who’s ready to help me grow, learn, and keep my ears from accidentally dipping into things they shouldn’t. In return, I promise laughs, loyalty, and a lifetime of ear-flop entertainment.

If you’re looking for a sweet girl with **built-in personality (and ears for days)**, I might just be your Ducky. 💛

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
