If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
It breaks my heart to do this, but we need to find Pucci another home. I want her to go to someone who can take care of her rather than taking her to a shelter.
She is a very sweet kitty, cuddly, and calm. 13 years old, fixed, and Ive had her since she was a kitten. She takes medication for her thyroid twice a day, which is inexpensive and she literally begs me for it, so its easy to do and remember! Proof of her lapping it up attatched!
Here is the problem: She has ALWAYS had a habit of peeing outside of the litter box. This was manageable when she only went on the tile, but over the past year she has taken to going on the carpet. Ive had her checked for a UTI multiple times, and bloodwork found her to have Hypothyroidism which is better with treatment. She is happier and healthier after this, but the peeing did not stop.
I have tried extra litter boxes, pee pads, and scooping more frequently. We live in an apartment and cant go on like this. Message me for more info.
