My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this beautiful brindle gentle giant 🐾 — a big-hearted girl with an even bigger capacity for love.

This 85-lb mixed breed sweetheart came to us through no fault of her own after her owner was hospitalized. In her kennel, she can appear reactive — the shelter environment is overwhelming for her, and she struggles to show her true self there. But once she’s outside of the kennel, everything changes.

Out and about, she is calm, kind, and incredibly gentle. She enjoys relaxed walks, soft affection, and being near people who make her feel safe. Despite her size, she has a tender soul and a peaceful presence that surprises everyone who meets her beyond the kennel doors.

She would thrive in a home that understands big dogs with big feelings — one willing to give her time to decompress and adjust. A quieter environment and patient guidance will help her blossom into the loyal, loving companion she’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a devoted, gentle giant who just needs a chance to exhale and feel secure again, she’s waiting to meet you. 💛🐶

Additional adoption info

Our main goal is to find forever homes for our animals, based on their individual needs. For this purpose, we take applications for every cat and dog. This application is the first step towards adoption! Applications are not first come first served, but instead best first match for the animal, first served. Once a suitable applicant is found, our staff calls that party to schedule a meet and greet and - if all goes well - an adoption takes place that day!
