The Durant Aussie Paussie 0226
This adorable litter was originally of 10 healthy, happy Mini Aussie-Border Collie pups that were divided between three rescues; we are thrilled that DASH was contacted to bring some of them in!
The babies have been cared for by a wonderful DASH foster who is a vet tech in Durant, Oklahoma, and they are available for adoption AS OF TODAY, Feb 4.
They will be able to be picked up Friday, February 13 and/or Saturday, February 14th; they’ll be eight weeks and three days old at that time and will have had TWO rounds of boosters, Bordetella dewormer & flea:tick prevention: everything that is appropriate for their age.
The videos and photos are adorable — we’ve gotten to follow their progress. They are tiny! They are definitely mini puppies!
All three are HEALTHY, ACTIVE, PLAYFUL, CUDDLY AND BOTH DOG AND CAT FRIENDLY since they are little babies
The homes we are looking for will have at least one adult who works from home or is not gone from home more than two hours a day for the next several months. Homes with children 10 and older on a case by case basis will be considered. We definitely want houses with yards that have secure privacy, fences or safety fences, (though Rescued Mini Aussies are never to be left out unsupervised)
We do love homes that have another dog that’s an age/energy level that Puppy can play with because, as I always say, no matter how fun humans try to be we’re not as fun for a puppy as another dog is! These are babies who will learn a lot of socialization from being with canine-companions.
We will consider One-Dog homes, but we will talk to applicants on a case by case basis; we are looking for for people that have appropriate playmates and plans of friends and family that have dogs for socialization.
One of the females has been adopted already, but I am posting Dingo & Wombat, the boys, and their sister Little Roo!

General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.
We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
