Meet Maguire!

I guess you’re wondering how I got myself into this mess…

It all started when my sister Molly and I were living life on the run. Street smarts, big dreams, tiny paws. Then one day — boom — we landed ourselves in a home. Sadly, it turned out to be a little overwhelming for our new human, so here we are… awaiting our happily-ever-after.

I’m about 1–2 years old, fixed, up to date on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative — basically the full deluxe package. While Molly and I don’t have to be adopted together, let’s be honest… double the cats, double the love.

The staff says I’m a laid-back kinda guy. I happily accept ALL the pets, but I’m also secure enough to know the world doesn’t revolve around me (even though it probably should). If you’re looking for a chill companion with a soft heart and a great origin story, I might just be your guy.

Submit Application

Adopters are welcome to submit their application before or after visiting our shelter. We encourage doing so before for a smooth adoption.

Approve Application

A representative will reach out (usually via email) when processing your application.

Sign Adoption Contract

The adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies under 6 months- $300 ($50 back when altered)
Adult dogs- $250
Senior dogs (over 8yrs)- $75

Kittens under 6 months- $55 ($25 refunded when altered)
Adult cats- $65
Senior cats (over 10yrs)- $55

Requirements: All other animals in the home must already be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines, unless the animal is too young. All animals must be inside pets only. If you rent you must come with a signed paper from your landlord, allowing pets. Please fill out an adoption application by following this link

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
