My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

It is hard to write bios for kittens, especially kitten litters, because they are all so sweet and cute, I mean they are kittens for goodness sakes! This litter is named after country music legends or superstars. This litter of five, came to our shelter with three adults as well, including their Mama (Reba). The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter for everyone before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs. This litter is scheduled for their own spay/neuter within the next month. An approved application will move your kittens to the next available date.

*Miranda looks the most like her Mama (Reba) right down to the white tip on her tail. She is a beautiful brown tabby girl with a soft round face. This kitten is adorable and equally as sweet. She is always snuggling with one of her brothers (normally Kenny but sometimes Garth) but will happily come out to enjoy some attention from our volunteers as well. Just like her other siblings, she will roll to show you her cute little belly and offer it to you for pets or kisses. She would love to go home with any of her siblings but is currently most connected to either of her brothers. This little sweetheart is affectionate and kind to everyone.

IMPORTANT******We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have another similar aged KITTEN (Kitten= under 1 year of age) companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
