NEW INTAKE 2/7/2026: Truffles - female - 5/2/2020 - 19.2 pounds - Havanese
Reason for intake: Truffles came to us as an owner-surrender. The family only had her for four months after getting her as a retired breeder dog. Truffles did not understand the energy of their adult autistic son and would growl at him. Understandably, they felt the best thing to do was to surrender Truffles before something happened. Truffles was well-cared for and really the only thing we needed to do was microchip her. We'll be posting her for adoption soon along with all the information we've been told about her. Stay tuned!
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
