My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate date of birth is 2/5/2023 | Meet Wilson who has the most stunning green eyes that draw you in! It's his lovable personality and talkative sweet nature that really takes the cake! This young cat found his way to the comforts of indoor life on New Year's Eve. He immediately was most loving, interactive, affectionate and talkative cat that they had ever met. Unfortunately Wilson needed to get rehomed due to not the right timing for the family. That didn't stop Wilson and his positive outlook on life. Every time you walk into a room Wilson is more than happy to greet you with his chirps and gentle meows. He'd even like to join you on your shoulder if you're willing to hold him. He has no boundaries when he is comfortable! He truly just wants to be close to his humans. He is FIV positive, and with good care, love and regular vet visits, he can live a happy life! Wilson is curious about cats and gets along with proper transition. He has met a large dog previously without any problems. Are you ready for Wilson to positivitely impact your life? | Sociable with cats: Likes with proper introduction | Is FIV positive. FIV positive cats can live with FIV negative cats. Talk to us for more information! | Sociable with dogs: Loves them | Sociable with kids: unknown but optimistic| Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, they are FeLV/FIV tested and vaccinated as appropriate by age. | Interested in adopting? Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
