My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lovey! A beautiful little puppy girl who is a Beagle mix that was rescued from a poor and neglectful home where she was not welcomed by the husband.  This little girl had the saddest eyes when we received a plea for her to go to a new home ASAP.  We could see she was in a desperate situaton and a need for love, food and much better care.  Before we ever met her we decided to call her Lovey in honor of the upcoming Valentine season.  It turns out her name is perfect for her because she is absolutely the most fun and loving puppy ever.  At 9 weeks she was just 7.5 pounds and she delights in all the most adorable puppy antics and showing her foster mom just how bright and eager she is to learn things in her young life. She is food motivated and this makes training oh so easy.  Crate trained, learning what a leash is,  and doing great at potty training (outside is good and also pee pads) this girl has been so open to being trained on all levels to make her a great companion and family pet.   Lovey will grow to be a 30-35 pound girl with a rich golden short fur coat and a face of a sweet angel full of love and the heart that will be just for her family.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
