From Foster: This mama has wiggled her way into our hearts, one tail wag at a time. We can’t say enough amazing things about this girl. She has a soft personality and can be a bit timid with change, however she settles in surprisingly fast and absolutely adores human attention.
Domino will sit for treats and sits when we put on her leash to go on a walk (but quickly bounces back up…patience is difficult!). She is house trained, quiet, and just a kind dog. When something interests her, her “bat ears” go on high alert and she’ll lock in (looking at birds, bunnies, dogs), however she doesn’t react anymore than that and quickly gets distracted by something else (the puppy brain is real).
While Domino does want to jump on you, it’s more of a “soft climb” so she can put her paws and head on your chest. She is so gentle and genuinely sweet, it is nearly impossible to not fall for this girl.
Domino is still focused on her pups, but you can tell she’s ready for her next adventure. She seems active, but not high strung. She enjoys walks and being outside, but also truly just enjoys a good cuddle. This girl is going to make someone a very happy dog owner, and she is SO ready to find her person or people!
Domino was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She was just hours away from euthanasia with her litter of puppies before she was able to be rescued out of the shelter.
Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events!
We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.
