My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sterling — A Gentle Puppy Dream Come True!
9-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy
Fostered in Penndel, PA
About 14 lbs

Sterling is the kind of puppy who instantly melts hearts She’s soft, fluffy, and full of that classic puppy magic — playful and curious when it’s time for fun, and then ready to curl up close for snuggles the moment she’s tired.

She’s incredibly social and sweet, and she truly loves being around her people. Sterling is happiest when she’s included — whether that’s running in the yard, playing with a squeaky toy, or simply being near you while you go about your day

Sterling’s personality highlights:
Loves outdoor playtime and zooming around the yard
Squeaky toys are her FAVORITE
Treat-motivated and eager to learn
Super affectionate and loves being pet
Friendly and playful with other dogs
Great with cats
Snuggles hard after playtime

Sterling is wonderful with:
Dogs
Cats
Small children
Adults
Seniors
Men & women

Training & home skills:
• Crate trained
• Potty training in progress (she’s a baby!)
• Puppy pad training in progress
• Learning leash walking and getting better every day
• Early training started — learning the basics
• No resource guarding
• No negative behaviors noted — just normal playful puppy energy

Extra cute bonus: Sterling is a quiet little sweetheart — her foster hasn’t heard her bark yet!

Sterling’s ideal home:
Sterling would thrive in a loving home ready for puppy life — daily play, continued training, and lots of affection and structure A fenced yard is preferred, and someone home often would be helpful since she’s still so young. Another dog is not required, but she’d certainly enjoy having a canine buddy!

Sterling is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. A spay deposit is required as part of the adoption process. She is available for adoption in NJ and surrounding areas.

Sterling is ready to grow up loved — and she’s hoping her forever family finds her soon!

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
