Tourmaline was rescued from a poor breeder situation along with Quartz and Topaz and initially had extreme hair loss due to lack of proper care. Despite her rough start, she is a sweet pea who has grown in her coat beautifully and continues to make progress every day. Tourmaline is now learning to trust people and is showing her gentle, affectionate nature as she discovers what it means to feel safe and loved.

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes.
