My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boots is a very loving boy who isn’t shy about showing affection. He’s famous for his enthusiastic head butts and loves soaking up attention from the safety of his cat tree. When he feels comfortable, he’s happy to lounge nearby and keep you company.

Boots has spent most of his life as an outdoor cat and is nervous around other animals, as he believes they may hurt him. Because of this, he needs a calm, quiet home where he can be the only pet and live without children.

Boots does have the adorable habit of drooling when he’s especially happy. He is also working on losing a few extra pounds and will need a family willing to help him stay on a healthy diet. In return, he’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily remind you how much he loves you — sometimes with a strong head bonk.

More about this rescue

Circle 2 Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused and abandoned animals. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue animals in need, providing them with loving care, and placing them in well-matched, carefully screened permanent homes. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and horses where they are at risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, left abused, alone and homeless. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. We assist animals in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.
