Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports!
Meet Damian! Damian is a 9 month old, 36 pound shepherd mix. Damian is proof that being a mixed breed just means getting the best of everything. He may be a shepherd mix, but make no mistake, this guy is 100% certified Good Boy!
Damian has already mastered some impressive life skills. He’s basically a potty-training pro with only very rare accidents. He sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and settles in like a champ.
Speaking of brains, Damian has already learned a few commands and is very treat motivated, which makes training fun, easy, and rewarding for everyone involved. He’s eager to learn and loves showing off when snacks are involved.
Damian is a social butterfly with four legs. He’s fantastic with other dogs and loves romping around with his canine housemates. When he’s not playing with friends, you’ll find him happily entertaining himself with toys. Squeaky ones, chew ones, all the ones!
People? He adores them. Damian is friendly, affectionate, and has never met a stranger he didn’t like. One look into his stunning honey-colored eyes and your heart will be completely melted.
If you’re searching for the best boy, and feel lucky enough to become Damian’s forever family, don’t wait and apply today! Damian is ready to fill your life with love, tail wags, and unconditional devotion.
Damian is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $250.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue, Inc., non-profit and no kill, aims to alleviate the suffering of abandoned shelter animals by rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming them within our community.
We are proudly foster-based, meaning our animals live in homes, not shelters. This differentiates us and allows us to more thoroughly get to know our animals, ensuring they are matched with suitable, screened adoptive homes which meet our high standards.
As part of our commitment to the health and well-being of all of our animals and to reduce pet overpopulation in our community, every pet is spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of our animals for their entire lifetimes so that they will never suffer abuse, neglect or abandonment again.
