If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Clyde has been my husband’s and my cat for nearly three years. We also have two other cats in the home—my sister’s cat, Tofu, and my cat, Bonnie (Clyde’s sister). While Bonnie and Tofu do well, Clyde has special needs and stopped using the litter box after Tofu joined the household.
We’ve tried everything, including multiple litter types and boxes, enzyme cleaners, Feliway, and several vet visits. The only conclusion has been a possible neurological issue. Both my sister and I are in medical school, and our husbands work full-time, so we feel Clyde may thrive best in a quiet, single-pet home. He is wonderful with people and truly a sweetheart, and we believe he needs a calm environment and more individualized attention.
