Daffy is a 3-month-old tan terrier puppy with a tender heart, long legs he hasn’t quite figured out yet, and a personality that’s slowly (but surely) coming out of its shell. He was found at Clark Park with his siblings, and when he first arrived, Daffy was pretty convinced the world was way too loud and way too big. New things? Suspicious. Sudden noises? Absolutely questionable.
But here’s the fun part: once Daffy feels safe, you can see his goofy puppy side start to peek through. He’s learning that humans give snacks, beds are for epic naps, and toys are not, in fact, trying to steal his soul. With patience, consistency, and a calm, loving home, Daffy gains confidence every day—and watching those little wins is half the joy of loving him.
Daffy is the kind of puppy who will thrive with someone who understands that bravery takes time. CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another.
