If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Cypress is 12-14 years old and was adopted from the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter in 2016 where at the time I was fostering cats and I ended up adopting him. Not only is he super soft and pretty he is very loving, calm and is a lap cat with only three legs. He needs no special assistance, gets around without issue and is not a high energy cat. We call him our cat-dog because he is very independent/self sufficient, observant and can be vocal with chirps/talks to our other pets. He has lived inside our home with two other indoor cats (whom we are also rehoming), two house dogs and our kids as they grew up. He enjoys lounging, napping and if I am outside in our fenced patio I will let him come out with me for a little while because he enjoys laying out in the sunshine. He is a great cat! Cypress uses the litter box, is fixed, flea free, has no known medical issues. We are moving and he cannot come along. Looking for someone who will appreciate his uniqueness and treat him like family.
