We both appreciate a little attention, but we don’t necessarily need it 24/7. Both of us would prefer to just be left to ourselves. Oreo is the kinda guy who would rather not be touched, and I’m the type that you need to go slow with. Ausable Valley is a private non-profit No Kill animal shelter. We have a very active core of volunteers and have a play and exercise based enrichment program for all of our animals. AVAS staff work very hard to match pets to people.
