Meet Kodiak!
Kodiak is a handsome Boxer-Pitt mix, weighing in at a healthy 80 lbs and full of love. At 4 years old, heâÂÂs the perfect balance of playful and gentle. Kodiak truly believes heâÂÂs a lap dogâÂÂdonâÂÂt be surprised if he tries to snuggle right up with you!
Three years ago, Kodiak was rescued from a shelter in heartbreaking condition, weighing only 47 lbs with every rib and his backbone visible. With care and love, and plenty of peanut butter, heâÂÂs transformed into the happy, healthy pup he is today.
KodiakâÂÂs favorite things:
Peanut butter treats
Ear rubs (his absolute favorite!)
Running and playing at doggie daycare
HeâÂÂs a social butterflyâÂÂgreat with other dogs, cats, and childrenâÂÂand has never shown aggression. In fact, Kodiak has never even barked! He thrives in environments where he can play and interact, so a home with other dogs and/or kids would be ideal.
Kodiak is loving, loyal, and playful, and he deserves a family who can give him the attention he craves. Unfortunately, due to frequent travel, his current owner hates having to board him so often and wants to find him a home where heâÂÂll be surrounded by love every day.
