If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
< I adopted Star from the Humane Society in Arizona when she was about a year old, and she has truly been an amazing dog. She is very loving, gentle, and obedient very affectionate. She does well in the car, she hardly barks.. in two years I think I’ve heard one squeak. She will howl if you do. She loves to cuddle on her own bed or in bed with you she listens very well.
Star is kennel trained and house trained. When I’m not home, I usually keep her kenneled so she feels secure. She loves cuddling, spending time with people, and playing with other dogs. She would do best in a home that can give her consistency, attention, and plenty of activity.
This decision hasn’t been easy — I care about her deeply and want to make sure she finds the right long-term home where she can thrive.
