Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daffodil is a 3-year-old tabby beauty with a soft black, brown, and grey coat and the sweetest, most thoughtful eyes you’ll ever see! She’s a gentle, quiet soul who loves to curl up nearby and keep you company while you read, work, or watch TV. Daffodil can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion. She enjoys cozy beds, sunny windowsills, and calm, predictable routines. She’ll chirp softly to say hello and happily accept gentle pets and chin scratches from “her” people. She would do best in a quieter home where she can take her time to settle in and build trust. Daffodil may do well with another calm, respectful cat after a slow introduction, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only feline friend! If you think Daffodil might be the perfect match for your heart and home, please reach out to meet her—she’s ready to bloom with you!
If you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
