My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step.

MEET RUBY (BONDED PAIR)

Ruby is a beautiful Russian Blue-gray kitten with mesmerizing eyes and a story that begins on the streets. She was found living outdoors with her mother and sister, racing through neighbors' yards like a fearless little wild child before finding safety in our rescue.

At heart, Ruby is a mix of a shy soul and a playful spirit (with her sister). She came to us as a semi-feral and unsure about people, but she's made great progress. New situations and people still make her pause, but she will accept pats.

Ruby isn't a lap cat (YET) but she tolerates- and sometimes melts into gentle "Forced" love and snuggles. Her expressive eyes do most of the talking, and they have a way of quietly stealing hearts.

Her sister Pearl is her anchor and best friend. They are truly inseparable- playing, cuddling, creating chaos (the loudest zoomies), and building confidence together- for this reason they will be adopted as a bonded pair.

Ruby will do best in a calm, quiet, and patient home with an experienced adopter who understands that shy kittens blossom with time, trust, and effort. With patience and love, Ruby will continue to grow into a wonderful companion .

If you're looking for an expressive gray gal and her floof of a sister and have room for two devoted sisters, Ruby is ready to meet you!
