Pepsi is a sweet senior Chihuahua who’s ready for a slow, quiet life with someone who understands and appreciates her golden years. She would do best with older kids who can respect her age and gentle nature.
Pepsi is low energy and happiest when she’s curled up next to her person—whether that’s on the couch or tucked into bed. She seems dog friendly, but really just wants to be your little buddy. One of her favorite comforts is her beloved Lamb Chop toy, which she often uses as a pillow for naps (it’s as cute as it sounds).
Pepsi is currently recovering from a past of severe neglect and malnutrition. Due to prolonged poor nutrition, she has some muscle atrophy, but she is already on a structured recovery plan through the rescue. She receives gentle stretching exercises and is slowly increasing her daily walks to help rebuild strength. With patience, consistency, and love, she is expected to continue making progress at her own pace.
She doesn’t need a fenced yard and would do well in a calm home where she can go out for more frequent potty breaks, as many seniors do. Pepsi is looking for someone with a big heart—someone who understands that older dogs, especially those who’ve had a rough start, have so much love left to give.
If you’re searching for a loyal, snuggly companion to share quiet moments with and support through her golden-years healing journey, Pepsi may be your perfect match.
Adoption donation is $395 cash, $420 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip.
