Snoopy loves quiet companionship, curling up beside you or on your lap while you work, sleeping in the bed, giving sweet kisses, and showing you his favorite toy.
Snoopy has been through a lot and is still building confidence, but in the right home he truly shines. He enjoys walks, knows basic commands, is potty pad and outdoor trained (with potty bells). He does well free-roaming with access to his kennel and potty pad when alone, but may scratch at doors. He’s crate trained (with a little protest at first), and while he has some separation anxiety, he settles quickly and is doing very well on daily Prozac, which is affordable and he loves taking it.
Snoopy at a glance:
• 4 years old, 10 lbs, Shih Tzu/Maltese mix
• Requires frequent brushing and eye cleaning; he’s sensitive with grooming and needs a slow, experienced approach (does great with a muzzle)
• Sensitive tummy (no current issues)
• Separation anxiety + mild car anxiety, but is improving a lot with medication
• Needs overnight potty pad access or a middle-of-the-night potty break
IDEAL HOME:
• Adult-only, calm, patient household
• No cats or large dogs (small dogs okay, he mostly coexists)
• Someone home often who understands trust is built gently and allows him time to decompress
Snoopy isn’t for everyone, but for the right person, he will be everything. He is loyal, affectionate, and deeply devoted once he feels safe. If you’re looking for a sweet companion, a snuggle buddy, and a little soul who will choose you every single day, Snoopy may be your perfect match.

Our mission is to rescue animals that are subject to euthanasia from city shelters due to overpopulation and to educate the community about spaying and neutering their pets. We are dedicated to saving and rehabilitating the animals who have been let down, and come to be terrified of people.
