A Quiet Soul Finding Her Footing

Yuki is a gentle presence who is still taking in the world around her. With mostly white fur, small gray freckles, and black coloring on part of her face and ears, she has a soft, distinctive look that matches her reserved personality.

Yuki is quite new to us, and and she is still feeling shy and overwhelmed in the shelter environment. She prefers to observe and move at her own pace as she gets comfortable. Once she gets to know you, she will welcome you with a happy tail and seek out pets. On walks, Yuki walks nicely on leash but may pause or hesitate when she feels unsure, looking to her handler for reassurance.

Yuki knows sit and shake. There are signs that Yuki may know more commands in Spanish, which is something we’ll continue to explore as she settles in. For now, she’s showing us that she’s thoughtful and cautious, the kind of dog who will likely open up more and more with a little time and patience in a calm home.

Yuki may be a good match for someone who values a quieter companion and understands that trust grows gradually, one gentle step at a time.
