My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Northeastern people! I am a very sweet and handsome Goldendoodle named Tex. I am about 5.5 years old, born on 6/24/2020, and I weigh 65 pounds. I was adopted as a little puppy in San Antonio, Texas, and was loved and cared for by my family, but due to busy schedules and no time for dogs, I was surrendered along with my doggy housemate to 4 Little Paws Rescue so we could both find a better future.

I am a sweet, happy, smart, loyal, loving, and friendly boy with a medium energy level and a heart of gold… in other words, I’m the best Doodle ever! I’m excited when meeting new people and great with everyone, dogs included, but they are not my focus. I’m truly a people dog, not really playful, instead more interested in chilling out around the house together with my family. I love walks and car rides, bear hugs, pets, and sharing kisses. I am very well-behaved and an expert at being home alone without any supervision. I’m housebroken and trustworthy, and do not use or need a crate. I sleep quietly and peacefully each night in a dog bed next to yours. My foster family says I’m amazing, and whoever adopts me will hit the rescue dog lottery for sure! Inquire about me today.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
