Ruby is energetic and playful. She knows how to play fetch without ever being taught. She knows when we come home with grocery bags to search for a receipt to bring to us to crumple up and throw for her to fetch. Like any cat, though, she gets sleepy in the afternoon and will find one of us to cuddle with as she takes a nap. If we aren't around, we'll frequently find that she has crawled under a blanket or our couch cover to take a nap.
We have had Ruby since we adopted her and her littermate, Opal, in June of 2020, with no issues. Ever since our son (10 months old) has started crawling and eating solid food these past few months, though, there have been issues with them trying to play with his toys and grab his food. They have scratched him twice doing this (accidentally, not maliciously). As much as we love these cats, we've made the difficult decision to rehome them for this reason to do what's best for our son and future children.
