My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy. Daisy is about two years old, she has been felv/fiv tested (negative), spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Daisy was born under a porch to a feral cat. A good samaritan took in the young family.

Daisy is an affectionate little girl who is good with dogs and most cats, although she can be bossy with some of the cats that she has met. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly once she is used to her surroundings. Daisy was successfully treated for FIP last year and has had follow up blood work that shows she remains healthy.

For additional information on Daisy, please contact Cause for Paws via email at cause4paws@hotmail.com or leave us a voicemail at 952-259-1483. Daisy's adoption fee is $225. Thank you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.

More about this rescue

Cause for Paws is a Minnesota nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1998. It is a small all-volunteer group of friends who love cats and want to make a difference for cats in our community. The small group's main focus is helping stray and abandoned cats and kittens find loving, permanent homes. Cats are fostered in volunteers' homes; there is no shelter facility. The goal of every Cause for Paws adoption is a home where the cat and the other family members -- both two-legged and four-legged -- will thrive. Prior to adoption, all cats are examined by a veterinarian, Felv/fiv tested, vaccinated (including rabies and distemper), spayed or neutered, microchipped and registered, fostered in a volunteer foster home to determine the kitty's personality, and received treatment for flea/parasite prevention. As funds allow, Cause for Paws also provides spay/neuter assistance for owned cats in the community, through its Cause for Paws Spay/Neuter Subsidy Program. The work of Cause for Paws is funded entirely by donations.
