Before the pet is taken home, the dog must be spayed or neutered. We must have commitment for adoption before then.

Additional adoption info

The adoption process requires an application and payment of adoption fee. The animal is then scheduled to be spayed/neutered at the local vet. Once application, fee, and spay./neuter are complete the new owner may pick up the pet. The cost is $150 for each dog to cover their vetting.

More about this shelter

The shelter works to house and make available for adoption both owner surrender animals and stray animals. The shelter is open admissions, and space is limited. The purpose of the shelter is ultimately to make available for rescue or adoption, the animals they receive in their care. The purpose of this site is to network the animals to potential adopters and rescues. Our hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 12 PM. We are closed to public Wednesday and Sunday
