Nick was a very scared boy who went unclaimed at a high volume shelter in Houston. His Texas fosters said he looked like the most frightened little pup—unsure of the world and a bit wary of them. But within just a few hours, he began to blossom!
Nick is 72 lbs and we think he’s around a year old. He’s derpy and we suspect he’s a Great Dane/Lab mix. Nick is a happy, affectionate boy who loves toys, naps, and—most of all—snuggles and forehead kisses. His tail never stops wagging; he’s truly the happiest pup. In just two short days, he learned to sit and shake, rides perfectly in the car (he just curls up and relaxes in the back), walks great on a leash right by your side, is fully potty trained (not one accident!), and does great in his kennel. Nick also loves playing fetch in the backyard—he could chase a ball for hours! Words can’t fully capture how sweet and gentle this boy is. He is also dog friendly and deserves the best from here on out so please apply for Nick! His sweet, sensitive self will continue to blossom in his forever home.
Nick is in foster in Mead, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *
