My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Dee Dee has a distinctive orange strip down her forehead and nose. She started life in a barn and was trapped in the same trap as her sister Tipsy. Dee Dee loves snuggling with her sister Tipsy and brother Buzz, she is much more timid than her brother and sister. Dee Dee will need a little more attention and snuggles from her new family, she will need to develop trust with her new family. Dee Dee also loves watching the big cats at the foster moms so she should probably have a feline brother or sister, one who will take her under their wing and show her how fun a family can be. Or possibly you could adopt Buzz or Tipsy with her, I am sure she would be grateful. Dee Dee has a giant purr box and really needs some extra TLC so she can relax and enjoy the indoor life. Like her siblings she has excellent bathroom habits and likes to keep her room clean. Dee Dee is beautiful and ready for her next chapter.

Adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
