Lucy is a friendly, affectionate girl who has stayed remarkably gentle despite a tough start. After her owner passed away, she was left outside on her own, but she never lost her soft spirit or her trust in people.
Her coat is slowly growing back in, and with steady care and a safe place to relax, she’s blossoming more every day. Lucy loves calm company, kind voices, and anyone willing to offer her the love she’s been missing

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
