Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow meet Beau! Beau is a handsome buff and white gentleman with movie-night manners and a heart that clearly chose indoor life. Originally part of a TNR project, Beau surprised everyone when instead of heading back to his colony, he jumped straight into the trappers arms like, “Nope. I live with people now.”! And meant it! This adult hunk is very social, outgoing, and ridiculously affectionate. He’s a certified lap cat who loves to cuddle, supervise your day, and watch TV like he actually understands the plot. Beau is playful and goofy, especially when toys are involved- catnip toys and fuzzy mice are his absolute jam. He carries them around, chats with them, and generally acts like they are his tiny little friends. Beau’s personality is pure comedy gold: chatty, confident, and charming…especially when he is rocking one of his signature bow ties. Yes, he knows he’s cute. Because he grew up as a colony cat, Beau can be protective of his food and may growl if another cat gets too close while he is eating so it would be best to feed him in a separate area if other cats or dogs are in the home. He also should not be free fed, as he takes his love of food very seriously and will happily over indulge if given the chance. If your looking for a funny, affectionate, people loving cat who chose domestication with enthusiasm and flair, Beau is ready to charm his way right into your lap - and your heart!

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
