Meet Rocky — a lovable 5½-year-old, 65-lb coonhound mix with soulful eyes, droopy ears, and an irresistibly smooshy face. Rocky’s favorite thing in the world is people, and he’s always ready to soak up affection, settling in next to you on the couch. He’s a goofy boy who is loving to frolic in (or eat) the snow with his dog friends.
Rocky is crate-trained and has been accident-free in his foster home. He’s still learning the ropes of indoor life and polishing his manners—especially when his powerful hound nose catches the scent of snacks—but he’s eager to please and responds well to guidance. He does his best to be gentle with his foster toddler, though he’s still figuring out just how big he is.
If you’re looking for a chill, affectionate companion who will greet you with loving eyes and a wagging tail every day, Rocky is ready to be your shadow.
Rocky is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $250.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
