My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duke Silver!

Duke Silver is a strikingly handsome 4-year-old gentleman who came to the RISPCA after being found as a stray. After spending quite some time outdoors, Duke is a bit rough around the edges, but that just adds to his rugged charm. Now that he’s discovered the comforts of indoor life, he’s absolutely thriving and soaking up all the love, cozy naps, and full meals he can get.

This distinguished guy seems very happy to have left his street days behind. Given his past experiences (and some rumored tough-guy cat scuffles), Duke would likely prefer to be the king of his castle as the only pet in the home.

If you would like to meet Duke Silver, please fill out an application, or reach out to cats@rispca.org with any questions.

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
