Daphne needs a home without other pets. She has not been socialized as a young kitten so as to not be anxious and scared around other cats, dogs, or children. She is sweet and loves pets when it is her idea. She does not like to be picked up. I believe this is because she was not socialized to being handled as a young kitten. She loves to interact in play mode with her human by chasing a stringed toy or a laser light. Daphne wants to be the only cat and would prefer a home without dogs too. She will urinate and/or poop outside the litter box if stressed. This behavior will extend to marking an area that she can detect as occupied by a previous cat. She is 3 years old and needs a home that is free of other pets and odors so that she may fully relax without stress and stress behaviors.
