My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Woody

Woody is a 4-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a new forever home after losing his dad very unexpectedly. Through this big change, Woody has shown nothing but resilience and love, and he’s ready to share his big heart with a family of his own.

Woody has a playful, happy temperament and truly enjoys spending time with his people. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, and has done well with other dogs. He would benefit from gentle structure and loving discipline to help him continue to thrive and feel secure in his new environment.

Above all, Woody is a very loving boy who wants nothing more than companionship, consistency, and a place to belong. He’s the kind of dog who will gladly be by your side, offering loyalty, affection, and plenty of tail wags.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a soft heart and a joyful spirit, Woody may be the perfect addition to your home.

More about this rescue

Animal A.I.D. of Mississippi is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), foster-based dog rescue organization dedicated to protecting, nurturing, and loving the most vulnerable and forsaken dogs in our community. Powered entirely by volunteers, we operate through a network of devoted foster homes and focus on placing dogs into safe, loving homes locally throughout South Mississippi, as well as across the Northeast and Southwest Louisiana through our established transport partnerships. Our mission is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that every dog deserves a second chance.
