Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tazz
Tazz is our almost six year old tabby sass-a-frass! She recently arrived to HAP when her owner could no longer care for her. Since she's lived in a loving home most of her life, she's struggled transitioning into shelter life. We're still giving her some time to settle in so we're unsure if her sassiness is because she doesn't feel settled yet or if that's her true personality. What we do know is that underneath that initial sass is a very affectionate girly! Once Tazz feels more comfortable, she will weave and rub and push her entire body weight into you for loving. But if you stop before she's had her fill, you're not going to hear the end of it because she will let you know she wants more with her loud meows! She's quite the vocal girly. We haven't seen how she is with other cats yet so we're unsure how she'd do living in a home with other cats. As Tazz continues to settle in and we learn more about her personality, we'll continue to update! In the meantime, if you're interested in Tazz stop in today to meet this sassy but sweet girl!
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process
is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this
specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you
to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the
meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption
fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a
small bag of food to get you started.
