These 2 big brown tabby & white boys are likely brothers. Frick & Frack had been visiting a kind woman living near the Bridgeport/Stratford border for several months & during really bad weather she had let them in a few times - which did not sit well with her own cats. Because her kitties didn't accept the addition to her home she had to find an alternative so she contacted one of our local rescue associates. We've yet to determine if they're actually bonded or if they are cat friendly but they seem pretty laid back so far. Frick & Frack are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & ready for their furever home(s)!
This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
