My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Gordon!

I’m a friendly and outgoing guy! I love doing projects and can help by supervising or getting my paws in it! I love being around my people and keeping you company.

I have the softest fur that is fluffy. Everyone says I have beautiful Russian Blue coloring make me extra handsome—but my personality is the real star. I’m affectionate, curious, and enjoy attention !

I’m looking for a home where I can be the only cat or live with other FeLV-positive friends.

About my FeLV status:
I tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), but right now I’m healthy, active, and feeling great. Many FeLV+ cats live happy, comfortable lives for years with the right care and a loving home.

Here’s what to know about FeLV:
• FeLV is a cat-only virus — it cannot spread to people, dogs, or other pets
• It spreads only between cats through close contact like grooming, shared bowls, or bites
• FeLV+ cats do best as indoor-only pets to stay safe and healthy
• With good nutrition, low stress, and regular vet checkups, many FeLV+ cats live normal, happy lives
• FeLV+ cats are often overlooked, but they make incredibly loving, devoted companions
• Lots of love (my favorite part)

FeLV is not contagious to people or dogs—only to other cats through close contact. That’s why I need a home as a solo cat or with other FeLV+ kitties.

If you’ve ever thought about giving a special cat a chance, I promise to be a loyal companion and a great little helper!

I hope you pick me to meet to be a part of your family!
