Meet Snickers 🥜
2 years old • 25 lbs • Terrier mix • Neutered male
Snickers is a scruffy little guy packed with personality — equal parts charm, energy, and hilarious side-eye. With his wiry “perpetual bedhead” coat and expressive eyes, he’s the kind of dog who makes people smile the moment they meet him.
He loves to play and brings big enthusiasm to everything he does. Snickers enjoys toys (sometimes claiming them as his own for a minute 😅) and absolutely loves to wrestle with other dogs. He can get a little carried away when he’s excited, but he responds well to correction and does best with confident dog friends who can match his playful energy.
But here’s the part that surprises people…
He is also a total lap dog.
After he’s burned off some energy, Snickers is more than happy to climb right into your lap and soak up attention. He loves being close to his people and enjoys curling up next to someone once he feels comfortable. He’s not just an active little guy — he’s affectionate, people-oriented, and wants to be included.
Snickers is still polishing his house-training skills and learning structure, so he’ll need consistency and routine as he continues to mature. He’s smart and adaptable, and does best when expectations are clear.
Because of his adventurous spirit (and impressive athletic ability), he will need secure containment or supervised outdoor time to keep him safe.
Snickers would thrive in an active home that appreciates both playtime and cuddle time — someone who wants a fun, expressive dog who can wrestle one minute and be a lap companion the next.

At Rebel Animal Rescue, we believe in keeping adoption as simple and welcoming as possible. Instead of strict, one-size-fits-all requirements, we focus on open conversations with potential adopters. We want to learn about your home, lifestyle, and any challenges you might face, and work together on solutions that set you and your new pet up for success.
The adoption process starts with a short application, which we review to make sure the match could be a good fit. From there, we arrange a meet-and-greet with your entire family—and for dog adoptions, your resident dogs too.
If everyone feels good about the match, we encourage a one-week trial period. This gives you time to see how your new pet settles in. At the end of the week, we’ll finalize the adoption if it’s working out—or welcome the animal back if it’s not the right fit.
Our goal is to find loving, lasting homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible for both you and the animal.
