My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Seeking a Quiet Sanctuary for a Gentle Soul: Basket's Journey to Peace Meet Basket, a stunning orange tabby with expressive eyes and a heart that is ready to bloom. Basket hasn't always known the comfort of a soft bed or a tidy room; he came to us from a difficult, unhealthy environment that was often loud and overwhelming. Because of this, he is looking for a home that is the opposite of where he started: a clean, calm, and predictable space where he can finally relax. A Sensitive Soul: Basket is what we call a "slow-burn" kitten. He is sensitive to his surroundings and may spend his first few days observing from a safe distance. He finds loud noises and sudden movements startling, so a household that trades chaos for calm is where he will truly thrive. He is looking for a patient human who understands that trust isn't given instantly, it's earned in the quiet moments. The Deep Connection: Once Basket decides you are his person; the transformation is magical. He doesn't just "like" his humans; he connects with them deeply. He is a world-class cuddler who finds immense comfort in physical closeness. Whether he is curling up in the crook of your arm or "piling up" for a nap with his brothers, Basket's love is pure, soft, and incredibly rewarding. His Perfect Match • The Environment: A tidy, predictable home where he can feel organized and safe. • The Volume: He prefers soft music or quiet conversation over slamming doors or loud TVs. • The Human: Someone with a gentle touch and a patient heart who views his initial shyness as a trait to be nurtured, not a problem to be fixed. Quick Facts: • Breed: Orange Tabby (Male) • Age: Estimated 8 months old • Personality: Affectionate and playful • Ideally: A patient family with or without another cat to keep him company. He loves cuddling and playing with his brothers: Boo Woods, Bowser JR, Bug Buzz and Brandt • Consideration: Has not been exposed to dogsFebruary 9, 2026, 6:39 pm
