Avalanche, Great Pyrenees mix, 3 yrs., 80 lbs. Housebroken. Avalanche is going to take some time to get used to you and new surroundings. It took a week for him to get used to being leashed. He is headstrong and stubborn but is affectionate. Doesn’t seem to care about other dogs. He’s better with women than men. He needs to be an indoor/outdoor dog not a livestock dog. We prefer a home with someone home most of the time unless there’s another dog in the home. He was surrendered due to his owner becoming ill and he could no longer care for him. Courtesy listing. Adoption application will be filled out over the phone, and Homeward Bound Rescue currently asks $150.00 for adoptions which includes
spay or neuter for all pets, current vaccinations and rabies according to age, medical care/check up if needed, medical history of the animal
Homeward Bound Rescue will not adopt an animal into a home for purposes of breeding, performing, entertainment, experimentation, fighting, reselling, or personal gain. We find loving homes for pets that will become part of the family. We reserve the right to deny any adoption application at our discretion.
