Luca is incredibly affectionate, the kind of companion who doesn’t just tolerate attention, but craves it, leans into it, and makes you feel like the most important person in the world. She’s sweet, gentle, and ready to be someone’s little shadow. She’s the kind of cat who greets you like you’ve been gone for years, curls up close when you sit down, and turns an ordinary day into something warmer just by being near you. Luca doesn’t belong in a rescue center, she belongs in a home, stretched out on a cozy blanket, being adored the way she so freely adores others.

We ask that you please fill out an adoption application. All applicants will be interviewed, home checks if the applicants live in the area otherwise photos of the home are accepted, background checks and references required. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
