Hi there… I’m Prickly Pear!
I’m a 4-month-old tuxedo kitten with the cutest little black spot on my upper lip (some say it looks like a tiny beauty mark!). I might be small, but I’ve already accomplished big things. For example, I’m a proud graduate of the TABBY program (To Achieve Best Behavior Yet), and I’ve been working super hard on building my confidence around people!
I’m still learning that the world isn’t so scary, and I may need a little extra time to settle into my new home. I’m what they call an “undersocialized gal,” but really, I’m just a sensitive sweetheart who needs patience, a steady routine, and a cat-savvy human to help me continue blossoming. The quieter and lower-traffic the home, the better I’ll feel!
One thing that makes me feel brave? Other cats! I absolutely must go home with a feline friend because they help me feel safe and show me how to be confident. I’m very cat-social and love having a buddy to play, lounge, and learn with.
And oh, you should know…I LOVE to play! Toys are my favorite way to have fun and build confidence. I also enjoy watching “cat TV” and participating in enrichment activities that keep my curious little brain busy. I may not be the type to leap into your arms on day one, but if you give me time, understanding, and love, I promise to make progress more and more each day. I’m worth the wait and once I trust you, it will be something really special.
