Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
Meet lovely Bootsy! Bootsy came into our rescue with her 3 babies when she was found outside in my window well with her babies. All her babies were adopted now it is time for mom to find a forever home. She adapted very easily into living in our home for living on her own outside for around 8 months . Never having toys or other cats to play with that is now her greatest joy . No cat or a toy is a stranger to her . It gives us great joy in watching her loving living in a home now . When she is not playing with toys or other cats she will lay peacefully on the floor or couch studying us humans . She listens intently when we talk to her and reminds us she is around by grabbing us while walking by. First thing in the morning she is the most loving she will come us wanting her head and neck petted . Like most cats it will take a few days to get to know you and then you will have a friend for life . She would do best with another active cat to play with and to be able to lie in the sun in your home .
