Meet Red (Yes, he's black and no he won't explain.)
5-month old Red is a sleek black cat with striking green eyes and the personality of a slightly caffeinated love goblin. He loves people, seeks attention like it’s his full-time job, and believes hands are for petting and light wrestling—sometimes in the same minute.
This guy shows affection with enthusiasm. That may include playful nibbles, surprise tackles, and drive-by chaos. He’s not mean—just dramatic and very committed to playtime. When properly worn out with toys, Red transforms into a purring cuddle gremlin who stares into your soul with his glowing green eyes.
Red would do best in a home without cats. He likes to be the center of all the cat attention and has shown cat aggression prior to being neutered. He does great with dogs and any people who understand that some love languages involve gentle chomps and sneak attacks. He promises laughter, entertainment, and the occasional “why are you like this?” moment.
If you’re looking for a handsome goofball with a heart of gold and zero respect for personal space, Red is ready to haunt your home in the best way possible
All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
