Poor Ashley has been through so much lately. Her home burned down, leaving she and 10 other kitties without a place to go. A local vet graciously took most of them in for emergency boarding, and was able to find a few of them new homes from there! We offered to take Ashley, who was pregnant, and find her a foster home to have her kittens. But, she ended up having them at the vet, and sadly, none of them made it. So, Ashley has lost her home and her babies, but she's a strong, resilient and sweet girl who is ready to be someone's baby herself.
Ashley is about 2 years old, and is still acclimating here after her recent trauma. She likes to hide under a blanket, but happily accepts pets and scritches, and is a big fan of tube treats. We can't wait to watch her personality and confidence blossom, but it would be even better if a home scoopes her up quickly! Ashley previously lived with other cats, but we're not sure how much exposure she's had to dogs. She's spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Interview
We will call your veterinarian and personal references. We'll also call you if we have questions or need more information.

Approve Application
We will approve or deny the application. You may be approved to adopt, but not necessarily the same animal you originally applied for.

Meet the Pet
This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.

Our facility is open 12-5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. We are closed Mondays and Wednesdays but are happy to arrange appointments outside business hours.
