My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Bobo. I’m a friendly, affectionate boy who is on a mission to find my forever family. I’ve heard rumors that families have couches, and I’m looking for one specifically equipped with a loving human who likes to play!
I love to chase, pounce, and zoom around with toys. I’m quite the hunter! But once I’ve burned off my energy, my favorite hobby is snuggling. I’m a professional lap cat—the moment you sit down, I’m there.
I’m great with kids and other cat friends. If you need a gentle, loving, and fun-filled companion, I’m your guy. Come meet me!

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
