Hello, Northeast people! My name is Turbo, and I’m a handsome black Chihuahua/Terrier mix about 4 years old, weigh 17.6 lbs, and I have a story to tell. It all started when I was dumped in Bulverde, Texas, with 2 other dogs. Good Samaritans and the police were all trying to catch us, but I could run like the wind, and the chase was called off when we neared a major highway. Five days later, at 5 am, I was found lying in the street, barely conscious, and taken to the vet. I had X-rays, but nothing was broken. I was exhausted, hungry, thirsty, scared, and confused about what had happened, and after 3 days of rest in a wonderful foster home, I was safe and sound, being spoiled and pampered like a little prince, and now it's time for me to find a forever home.
My foster mom says, “Turbo is a perfect gentleman, professional cuddle bug, and the ultimate people pleaser! He coexists nicely with the residents' dogs, but his heart belongs to humans.
He is very loving, rarely barks, walks beautifully on leash, is housebroken, and LOVES treats of all kinds. He's not into dog toys, but he is into snuggling up to you wherever you are! He also sleeps under the covers in his foster mom's bed and doesn't move all night.”
Yep, I’m simply a good boy, sweet and happy, easy to love and easy to live with. I am currently staying in Northampton, MA, so you can stop by to meet me. Just be prepared to fall in love and take me home! Inquire about me today.
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
